MDHC 2nd XI vs Telford & Wrekin 5th

Having conceded their first game of the season due to availability issues, the men’s 2nd team got their season underway at home to Telford & Wrekin 5th team. Fielding a 79-year-old player and several debutants not just to the club, but to the sport of hockey itself, they fell to a 7-0 defeat. A nasty injury to John Rayson 15 minutes from time saw them see out the end of the game a man short too. Next up, Beacon 5th team away!
