North Staffs 2nd vs MDHC Ladies 1st team

Our first trip of the season to North Staffs 2s who were promoted with us last season saw us with a full squad and two subs. For much of the first half , we were in control and created many chances going forward. North Staffs were quick to respond and some sharp passing in the D caught Meg Parsons off guard and she turned the ball into her own net, taking North Staffs 1-0 ahead.  Another foray into North Staffs half, saw a scramble on the goal line with Caitlin Freeman and Erin Parton desperately trying to put the ball away, but the final touch was taken by Anna Freeman scoring her first goal for the club. The second half saw more pressure from North Staffs, but with strong defending from the ScallyWags the result finished 1-1 earning us our first point of the season.
